Product Description
Everyonce in awhile a bait comes along that changes the way we fish. The Maximus and our X-Lock have done that with deep shakey heading. Many years ago Aaron Martin from Bass Edge did an interview with us about our Maximus and X-Lock and coined the term power shakey heading. Since then ledge fishing or deep shakey have never been the same. The Maximus will stand straight up and float on our X-Lock making it the ultimate deep water shakey head. Also use it on a Caroling Rig. It will float up in the water colum each time line is pulled in. Comes in 14 fish catching colors including the new Plumkin (plum on one side, green pumpkin on the other) 10 1/2" - 5 to a pack

Awesome bait. Very durable. Catch multiple fish on the same worm. Always have one tied on. Best ledge worm on the market.

Need a Default Bait?
Some days you just don't know what to chunk at those finicky bass. I have turned in the last year to the Xcite Maximus as a "go to", default bait. When I don't know if they are in an aggressive or tentative mood, whether they are chasing shad or working the lily pads/shallows, I keep one rig baited with a Maximus (plum, plumpkin, blue fleck, black, and sometimes tomato are my favorites). I catch a LOT of bass on this bait. For me it is essential that I have it available, and I find that many times, even if other choice baits are working too, the Maximus still produces results. I don't leave the dock without them.

Awsome floating worm!
Bait is great but it is a little soft. 90% of the time it will rip at the bend in the hook so you have to cut it off an rehook after one fish. Other than that these a awesome worms.

Maximus is a big fish worm!
When I got the Maximus worms in the mail I was so excited to try out the Maximus worm that immediately tied on an xlock head with a Maximus on it and filled a bucket of water to test it out and see if it stands up. I had a 5/8 oz head on and I found that most of the time it would stand up but sometimes it struggled to. It seemed as though if I just dragged it, it wouldn't stand up straight but as long as I popped the weight up off the bottom it would stand straight up. I went out fishin the next evening and I was immediately getting bites on the tomato but I couldn't hook one, probably too small to eat that size worm. I even tried letting them swim with it for a few seconds and still wasn't hooking up. A couple times when I set the hook, the worm tore off at the twist lock a minute later I found them floating on the surface. I was fishing about 16 to 20 feet. I was able to put the worms back on and use them again. I went through 4 out of the 5 worms in the pack that evening and never hooked up. I went back a couple days later and finally hooked into one. It was 5+ lbs. I love the combination of the Maximus with the xlock. I think it's gonna put some bigger fish in the boat for me. I just wish they were a little more durable but if they keep producing bigger bites I don't mind. Gonna have to order some more tomatoes soon! Haha
